The future of Europe and of the European Union is at stake. This watershed moment of the Russian invasion of Ukraine has brought urgency in addressing numerous challenges.

Does Europe want to be a bystander in a radically shifting global landscape? Is it responding robustly enough to the threats to the democratic liberal order both internally and externally? Can the EU fulfil its intention to be a geopolitical actor on an equal footing with other powers? These are questions and issues that the seminar addressed.
