This joint fellowship of the IWM and the Institut für Höhere Studien (IHS, Institute for Advanced Studies) was awarded for the first time in 2019.
It was awarded annually, by invitation only, to an outstanding scholar in the social sciences (including economics) for a minimum of one month, for up to one semester.
