Democracy in Europe: Citizens, Democratic Values, Institutions and Context

The main objective of the project is to scrutinize who the contemporary European citizens are as democrats, and more specifically to explain the universal and particular attitudes and preferences of EU Europeans as far as their democratic features are concerned. The results will allow me to say something about both the quality of democracy and of democratic citizens, as well as to hypothesize models of democracy that are likely to occur after the current crisis is over.
