Milica Kravić Aksamit

"Osnažene" is a documentary about Christa and Kimi, trafficking survivors from Burundi and Nigeria. They encountered discrimination and violence, which drove them to become activists and advocates for the rights of trafficking victims. The story follows their life in Belgrade, where they are asylum seekers. Aksamit focuses on the bright and inspiring side of their lives, rather than on problems only. The film thereby serves as a story of success, portraying a desire for life and documenting the guidance and purpose that the protagonists found on their long and thorny journey.
