Entering into Conversation about the Sounds of Democracy // Interviews on How Democracy Sounds
Sounds of Democracy is a project of the Institute for Human Sciences (Vienna) in collaboration with the Albert Hirschman Center on Democracy, Graduate Institute (Geneva), and the Research Group on Soft Authoritarianism (University of Bremen).
This blog post is a contribution by a team of linguists at the University of Bremen, namely Prof. Dr. Ingo H. Warnke and two of his doctoral students, Christian Bär as well as Hagen Steinhauer, who is also a member of the Research Group on Soft Authoritarianism, which is directed by Shalini Randeria, who holds the Excellence Chair at the University of Bremen.

Introducing Sounds of Democracy
Welcome to the Sounds of Democracy blog! The following blog post was written by Shalini Randeria, who is the Rector of the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna, Professor of Social Anthropology and Sociology at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, as well as the Director of the Albert Hirschman Centre on Democracy at the IHEID. Furthermore, she holds the Excellence Chair at the University of Bremen, where she leads a research group on Soft Authoritarianism. She is also the host of the Democracy in Question podcast series.
