Following this, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former prime minister of India, equated the Islamic mazar and the Christian church with a Hindu shrine. However, the relentless persecution of various religious minorities has not stopped. Thus, Professor Dasgupta asked: Has the ideology of Hindutva tried occasionally to amend itself but without attaining any tangible result? Read more
