Der Stern der Erlösung (The Star of Redemption), published in 1912, is the magnum opus of Franz Rosenzweig, recognized as a key work of modern existential thought. Being a fusion of philosophy and theology, it reviews the equal importance of Judaism and Christianity in the spiritual structure of the world and presents “the new thinking.” It is essential that this profound philosophical text is translated for the Ukrainian reader to complement existing translations of prominent philosophers of the twentieth century, such as Martin Buber, etc.
