Central Europe on the Way to Democracy

It seems to me that if a number of strategies, which are being delineated right now, are worked through, there's a real potential for share ownership, equity ownership, in Eastern Europe, to be the most equal in the world by virtue of the starting position. This is going to be an enormously powerful, stabilizing source for these economies. I would predict that in 10 years when we look back and ask, "Why did the miracle of economic growth occur in Eastern Europe?" All the analyses will say, "That's because the political fights were reduced by the very equal distributions of income and wealth."
