Thinking Through Migration problematizes the relationship between migration and the transformations of capitalism at a time when economic crises, populism and rising xenophobia are convergent.  It is a multi-scalar ethnography that addresses how East Asian migrants in France navigate the invidious terrain of economic restructuring and belonging.  The book is also an exposition of how key conceptual and methodological questions in political economy are illuminated through the analytic of migration.
