Ivaylo Ditchev

Drawing on the protest waves of the last two decades and more specifically in the Balkans, the project will analyze the way in which urban space is used in the political communication between citizens. The crisis of democratic legitimacy will thus be examined through a seemingly superficial aspect: the relation between space and media, producing effects such as global imitation, substituting creative form with political content, populist impatience and immediacy.
