"Tomorrow Belongs to Me" is a book-length study of young adults in twentieth-century Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe. It explores key themes in European history — industrialization, radical politics, modernist literature, and others — by looking at the emergence of the young person as a social, political, and cultural category and as an economic and social actor. The study is based on work conducted in all major regional languages and by utilizing a large database of printed and secondary materials.
