Ken'ichi Mishima

Ken'ichi Mishima was a Guest of the Institute at IWM for a month in November 2017 to work on his research project on multiple modernities and to discuss various aspects of the transnational entanglement of discourses, particularly with regard to the long shadow cast by European, especially Hegelian, self-interpretations of history on public debates in Japan.
