This project is an analysis of the ideas that motivated societal processes from 1962 to 2016 in Europe, the USA and other relevant places. Using a Hegelian methodology, the analysis concentrates primarily on rock music as the privileged arena for the Zeitgeist throughout most of the period under consideration; it also covers fashion, film, literature, art, philosophy and socio-political developments.
