Since the launch of the program Documenting Ukraine in April 2022, the IWM has awarded over 120 grants to projects that contribute to creating a wide-ranging record of the Russo-Ukrainian War, focusing particularly on Ukrainian society's experience of the war.

Among the grantees are archivists, scholars, filmmakers, journalists, artists, writers, and public intellectuals currently located across the country or, in some cases, abroad. We are honored to be able to support their invaluable work.

You can find more information about some of our grantees on the program's page; the list is constantly being updated.

Applications for the next round of grants will open at the end of August.
