This project aims to document the experiences of deaf people in Ukraine during the war, focusing on deaf survivors as well as the work of volunteers and sign-language interpreters. The goal is to collect and preserve testimonies that shed light on their challenges, personal stories, and the critical support they receive. The project includes interviews, reportage, the collection of published material, and the artistic interpretation of gathered data. The collected material will serve as the foundation for a documentary film, a series of media publications, and artistic works. This project not only safeguards essential stories but also raises awareness about the needs and lived experiences of deaf individuals in crisis situations, contributing to greater understanding, inclusion, and support in society.
