This project is an audio documentary that explores the emotional, psychological, and practical realities of women in Ukraine who have become mothers while their partners serve on the frontlines. These are women who are raising infants in wartime, facing the daily fears, loneliness, and burdens of solo parenthood while carrying the weight of anxiety for their loved ones at war. Anastasiia Bahalika’s own personal story will also feature in the documentary.

In Captivity is a ten-part series of podcasts featuring stories of former prisoners and civilian hostages. People who are former Russian war prisoners and hostages will tell their stories, which are mostly about war crimes committed by Russian soldiers. These are mostly painful stories that describe episodes of torture, starvation, sexual violence and psychological abuse. But the example of these stories shows the systematic nature of the aggressor's actions.
It is estimated that one podcast will have a running time of about 24 minutes. Each podcast is based on a single story. The chosen timing allows us to tell the story in its entirety and remain interesting without losing either the audience's attention or the dynamics of the story. The podcast’s protagonists are people who were in Russian captivity, as well as relatives of people who are still there.
