The IWM

The Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) is a renowned institute for advanced study in the humanities and social sciences. Every year, it invites more than 100 academics and intellectuals to Vienna. Through German and English-language events, publications and research programs, it conveys topics of academic and socio-political significance to an interested audience.

The IWM team comprises academic staff, including internationally recognized scholars and intellectuals, and administrative staff, who assist in their research and in the implementation of the Institute’s activities.
