GRANTEE
A series of interviews with individuals who experienced forced displacement from the small town of Selydove in the Donetsk region, explores small, everyday decisions made in moments of uncertainty, and details daily life near the frontline before and during evacuation. The conversations also include memories of peaceful life and the distant past, tracing the changes that have taken place over time. The project reflects a sense of double loss—a home is destroyed, and the world seems not to notice it ever existed. These recordings will serve as an independent documentary archive and a research foundation for future work with video, and will inform the structure of the installation. The primary objective is to restore visibility.
