In all wars, music has been close to humanity. This full-scale war that Russia launched against Ukraine shows that even on the battlefield, the military needs music. How do soldiers feel when they hear music among the dugouts? What emotions are experienced by musicians playing for the military? These are the questions I plan to explore in a new audio documentary with the working title Musicians at War.
