Superhumans

Superhumans is a documentary project that examines the impact of the Russo-Ukrainian War on human bodies, human lives, and the long-term fabric of Ukrainian society. Its goal is to document, with precision and honesty, how individuals who have survived injury, amputation, and trauma rebuild themselves—physically, emotionally, and socially.

The film follows patients and medical staff at the Superhumans rehabilitation center in Lviv. By observing their daily routines, their medical journeys, and their personal struggles, the project seeks to understand what war does to a person: how it breaks, reshapes, and ultimately transforms human beings.

The purpose of Superhumans is not to glorify suffering or heroism, but to provide an insight into the real consequences of Russian aggression. It aims to create a record of resilience and vulnerability, to show how recovery becomes a form of resistance and reconstruction for a war-torn country.
