Project:

Central European – a Species on the Verge of Extinction? Identity Narratives with Examples from 20th- and 21st-century Czech and Polish Fiction

I will compile Czech and Polish literature of the 20th and 21st centuries, focused on the discourse of Central Europe. The main goal of my research is to find similarities and differences in the literary construction of narratives about Central Europe in Czech and Polish literature and, consequently, the identity of both nations.
