Europe and Russia after the Liberal World Order
Europe and Russia’s relationship after the Cold War emerged within the Liberal World Order, based on certain universal freedoms, global American leadership and power dominance. It now seems possible that this order will end, as the global composition of powers changes. Both Russia and Europe seek new international roles, and incorporating Russia into the EU is not on the agenda any more. The goal of this project is to explore possible alternative scenarios to European–Russian relations in a world no longer bound by common rules.
