Project:

Johannes Fried, Aufstieg aus dem Untergang (German > Hungarian)

While at the IWM, I will be translating Johannes Fried’s work Aufstieg aus dem Untergang into Hungarian. This book by an internationally acclaimed medievalist develops an interesting concept of the roots of Western scientific thinking and illustrates the current paradigm, issues and methodology of historical science. Thus, the translation, as a project of the Atlantisz Publishing House, could serve as a major impulse for furthering Hungarian discourse on history and cultural studies.
