Project:

Discourses and Practices of Multiculturalism: Hungarian Youth in Vojvodina and Prekmurje

My project explores the notion of multiculturalism in the province of Vojvodina, Serbia comparing it to the Prekmurje region in Slovenia from the perspective of young Hungarian people. Focusing on the micro-level and the everyday experiences and expressions of self-identification and multiethnic relations, I aim to discuss how ethnicity is being constructed in minority contexts among contemporary youth.
