Tsvetan Stoyanov Fellowship for a Bulgarian Scholar

Conditions
The Tsvetan Stoyanov Fellowship will enable a junior scholar to spend six
months at the IWM in Vienna to pursue her/his research project while working
in residence at the Institute. The fellow will receive a stipend to cover
all expenses related to the stay in Vienna (travel, accommodation, health
insurance, incidentals). The IWM will provide the grantee with a personal
office including access to internet, in-house research and administrative
facilities.
In addition, the fellow will be provided free of charge with standard
consumable supplies and lunch in its cafeteria.
The Tsvetan Stoyanov Fellow will receive a stipend in the amount
of eur 1,500 per month. The 6-month research term must be completed between
January and December 2013.
The Tsvetan Stoyanov Fellow will be a member of the
international and multidisciplinary scholarly community at the IWM and is
invited to present her/his project at the Institute.
Eligibility
Candidates for the Tsvetan Stoyanov Fellowship:
must be Bulgarian citizens
must be enrolled in a doctoral program or recently
have obtained a PhD
must not be older than 35 years
Projects should fall within the humanities and social sciences, and
be related to Bulgaria and/or South-Eastern Europe in a broader European
or international context. Preference will be given to proposals that closely
match the research
priorities
of the IWM.
