The Socialist Calculation Debate

This lecture will focus on the contributions of F.A. Hayek as he developed the argument in the 1930’s and 1940’s after his move from Vienna to the London School of Economics.

 

 

peter_boettkePeter Boettke (born 1960, Rahway, New Jersey) is an American economist of the Austrian School. He is a University Professor of Economics and Philosophy at George Mason University and BB&T Professor for the Study of Capitalism. He is the Vice President for Research, and Director of the F.A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics of the Mercatus Center at GMU.
