Is Russia on the Edge of Change?

Monday, 14 February 2011, 7:00pm - 8:30pm, Bruno Kreisky Forum
There is one thing we can never know for sure about Russia – is it on the edge of change? The regime seems not to be competitive but it is yet an unanswered question if – with the presidential elections on the horizon – a “regime change” will take place. However, what we can say is that it is very unlikely that the current tandem of Putin and Mevedev will be preserved. The Kreisky Forum and the IWM gathered some of the world’s foremost political thinkers to discuss recent as well as future developments in Russian politics.
