Economic Policy and the 2016 Presidential Race

After detailing the critical economic policy issues that the US economy faces, Peter Boettke discussed the top candidates and whether their proposals address the problems or are merely rhetorical maneuverings to evade the problem and the appeal to populist sentiments.

peter_boettkePeter Boettke (born 1960, Rahway, New Jersey) is an American economist of the Austrian School. He is a University Professor of Economics and Philosophy at George Mason University and BB&T Professor for the Study of Capitalism. He is the Vice President for Research, and Director of the F.A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics of the Mercatus Center at GMU.
